Zillow Premier Agent Overview

Zillow Premier Agent is a lead-generation platform that allows real estate agents to connect with potential buyers and sellers. It is a key tool for receiving high-quality Zillow leads. Unlike some other lead sources, Zillow Premier Agent gives you the flexibility to self-pause or activate your account when you want to receive leads, putting you in control of your lead flow.

You should already be set up with a Zillow Premier Agent account by Day 4 of the 100-Days of Training. If you are not, get with your Onboarding and Training Manager for an invite.

To self pause or activate yourself on Zillow Premier Agent, follow the steps below after logging into your Zillow Premier Agent app on you phone:

How to Pause or Activate Leads in Zillow Premier Agent

  1. Open the Zillow Premier Agent App on your mobile device.

  2. Tap the Settings icon (usually a gear ⚙️ in the top corner).

  3. Select Lead Routing from the Settings menu.

  4. You will see your lead status options: Active or Paused.

  5. To pause leads: Toggle or select Paused.

  6. To start receiving leads again: Toggle or select Active.

  7. Confirm your selection if prompted.

Tip: Pausing your leads temporarily prevents new Zillow leads from being sent to you, while activating ensures you receive them again immediately.

Open House Guide for Cannon Team Agents

Check Slack for Opportunities:
Be sure to check the #openHouses channel on Slack for open house opportunities within the team. Open houses are an excellent way to grow your sphere of influence (SOI) and connect with potential clients.

Open House Materials:
Once you join the team, you will receive 5 Cannon Team open house signs to help promote your listing. Always be mindful of TREC and State rules/regulations regarding the placement of signs to ensure compliance.

Scheduling & Seller Approval:
You must schedule all open houses in ShowingTime to get approval from the seller, even if the property is vacant, before hosting.

Respect the Property:
Always be courteous to the property owner:

  • Do not eat their food

  • Do not handle or move their personal items unnecessarily

  • Do not kick your feet up or lounge on furniture

  • Operate under the assumption that you are always on camera
